Bridal Registry FAQ

How do I create a registry?
Online: Follow this link to get started.
In Store: Call to arrange a time with one of our Registry Consultants. We will tour the store with you, providing you with as much information you need about each item to decide if it is a product you would like to use. If you have family and friends local that will be shopping at our retail location, we will group your selection of items together for easy viewing. As well, we offer a complementary online registry for those guests who are not able to shop in store. 
 
How far ahead should we register? 
The sooner the better - 2 to 4 months, but for sure before your invitations go out. The sooner you are able to do this, the more time you have to manage your registry.
 
How do I update purchases or delete items from my registry?
Online: You control the items in your cart and can add or remove them as you choose. As purchases are made, your registry updates itself on items left available.
In Store: You can stop in or phone at any time to make changes to your registry. Our kitchen experts will monitor and update your online registry as items are purchased in the store.
 
What if I start my registry but don't want people to view it yet?
By selecting the privacy registry option. Once you login and start creating your registry, you are given two choices under the Privacy Setting of either "public" or "private". The public registry can be viewed by anyone that searches your information in the Shopping List search tool. Private registries are only accessible to yourself and those with whom you specifically choose to share a link to your registry.
 
How do I get personal assistance?
Stop in or call our store at 1(877)643-0285 so we can set up a one-on-one consultation. If you are not able to visit the store, we can set a time for a phone interview with one of our kitchen experts to help in the selection of items that are right for you and your partner. What and how much should I register for?
Everything you need and want - the more the better. Offer a variety of price points for friends and family. They will be thrilled to know that their gift is one you will love and that they will feel good about giving to you.
 
How do I let my family and friends know that I am registered with Country Lane Kitchens?
We will provide you with an email announcement you can send to those you wish. Some customers post it on their Facebook page. If you feel like this is "asking for a gift", let your attendants or family do it for you. Word of mouth often helps get the message out.
 
Do you have the same items in your store as you do online?
We have more items in our store than online. If you would like something that is not on our online shopping site, call us; chances are we can get it for you.
 
What if an item is out-of-stock?
You are welcome to add out-of-stock items to your registry. 
 
What about items on the registry that are not sold?
Registry items that are not sold can be purchased by you (the bride) for up to six months after your wedding date at a 10% discount.
 
What is your policy on returning or exchanging a gift item?
Please contact us first for authorization. We will have an ID sticker on products that are shipped. Please do not remove this until you are sure you are keeping it. This is to ensure that the item was purchased from us, as it would be possible that you could receive a duplicate gift, but the sender purchased it from a different vendor. Any items to be returned must be unused and in the original packaging. Kindly make any returns within 30 days of the event. We honour all warranties. If any item is defective, please contact us about it.
 
Do you gift wrap?
A gift bag option is available. If the size is not suitable for a bag, we will ship it gift wrapped.
 
Is a note or greeting card included?
The gift bag includes a note tag.  We are happy to add your personalized message to the gift bag tag.  Please include all information at time of checkout.  If you wish to send the registrant a shower or wedding card with the gift, send it to us as soon as possible so it can be included with your gift. You must make note of this at time of checkout. 
 
What delivery options do you offer?
Gifts can be shipped to any address (shipping fees will apply). We can compile gifts purchased for a registry and hold them at the store until they are picked up by a designated person. Please specify who the gift is from and who the gift is for in the 'Notes' section; select "Pick-Up" option at time of check out. For registries not in our geographical area, we can compile gifts and ship them together to one address to help reduce shipping charges.  Please make sure you specify at time of checkout that you would like to take advantage of group shipping to one location. This applies to Canadian addresses only.
