The Double Barrel Grater/Slicer with Corn Cutter will save you time and replace several other tools around your kitchen. The unique double hopper design gives you unlimited options for grating and slicing when you use it in tandem with the 2 different grating/slicing drums. For example you can simultaneously grate a carrot and slice a cucumber for a quick salad topping or fine grate chocolate with coarser nuts for cookies. Use the grating drums for all your grating jobs such as grating cheeses, carrots, making bread crumbs, thinly slice radishes, potatoes, and onions to mention a few. What really sets this tool apart is the corn cutter attachment. We were amazed at how quickly the sharp, stainless steel teeth removed raw kernels from the cob. It does a good job of removing the kernels quickly and with minimal mess. Once you have stripped half the cob, you turn the cob around and do the other half. A strong suction base keeps the Grater/Slicer firmly attached to any smooth surface.
