Cake

Stir together:

3 cups all-purpose flour

3 cups sugar

3 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon salt
-
1 1/2 teaspoon allspice

3 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix into dry ingredients:
Add 1 one at time, beating well after each addition:
Stir in:
Divide batter between 3 well greased 8” round cake pans.
Bake at 350° for 25 - 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into centre comes out clean.
Remove from pans and allow to cool completely.
Cream Cheese Frosting
Beat together until light and fluffy:
Put 1/2 - 2/3 cup of the icing between layers, spread remainder around the sides and top.
